Well, let's put it this way, it stopped complaining about missing gtkdocize (line one of autogen.sh) and now it's deep in the depths of line two of autogen.sh. ~/Source/OpenSource/clutter/clutter$ port search gtk | grep dev bzr-gtk devel/bzr-gtk 0.93.0 Various GTK+ frontends for bzr gtk2hs devel/gtk2hs 0.9.12.1 portable and native GUI library for Haskell gtkglext devel/gtkglext 1.2.0 OpenGL Extension to GTK Not sure I see any -dev variants. Of course, who knows what the lunacy of MacPorts has to do with this (like do they even separate -dev packages like they do on Ubuntu, for instance).
