Holly is right on, however I just got up off the floor laughing over HIPPA.  If you know how many clients ask if there is anything new on HIPPO you would know why we are all on the Internet so many hours.

One client told me they are too busy to read all of the STUFF I give them, they want me to just tell them what to do.  I almost did.

This is what I just LOVE (NOT) about some consultants.  It frustrates me to no end when I hear about consultants who are being paid to disseminate patently wrong information.

You will not find any sort of documentation to verify this, because it is hogwash.

And to all you consultants on the list, I am not talking about you.  If you are on this list, it means you have an interest in knowing the most current information and keeping on top of changes and trends in the RAI process. It's the ones who couldn't cut it in the real world of LTC, go out and incorporate themselves, build a website and print up a bunch of flyers and business cards!  One such consultant in my area has a website that offers services to ensure "HIPPA" compliance.  Now, I am no expert, but I think that if you are going to set yourself up as an authority on a particular subject, perhaps you should spell it correctly on your website.
