I recently went to a coding seminar, my first, and the corporation says that
V codes are alloweable. I cannot find the source document at present but I
do remember her saying to have the FI put it in writing that they will not
cover services if the primary is a V code. She said that usually shuts them
up and if not then to contact CMS and let them know which FI is refusing V
codes.
