I don't usually keep a copy of the initial feedback if the full validation report is available(the batch was accepted). It is very important though to keep the full validation report for future referance as proof you sent the MDS. I recently had a problem with that. When I sent a quarterly, September, I got a warning message stating they have not received an assessment since March. I knew I had sent it in June. So I checked the validation report of June and low and behold, it was accepted for June. I got in contact with the MDS lady of our state and finally found the problem. Due to some computer problems with our system, that particular record was sent as a sub-req of 2 instead of three. The problem is still not corrected with the state database but at least I have proof to show I sent it on time.
