Do you have someone who goes out to see the person in the hospital before
you admit them to your facility, can they maybe make a copy of it then?  Or
can you call the Medical Record's department of the hospital to ask them to
send you a copy.  Or, you can make it part of your required admission
information before you take them.

We are hospital based, so I can always just request their medical chart, but
usually, we get a copy of their MAR upon admission, and/or, it is documented
on our referral sheet that we fill out when we go out to eval the patient
for admission.
