Yes, the hospital will interrupt the 60
day count. The hospital stay is considered to be a skilling service. You will
start your count from the resident’s last day of skilled service, no
matter whether hospital or SNF. Your message below is contradictory.

completed 100 MCR days on 10/3/03. She went to hosp. 11/14/03 and readmit
back to our facility 11/17/03. My question is, is it before she reach 60
days or after 60 days.
