Can anyone direct me to a regulation about writing and placing a plan
of care on the resident's chart within 24 hours of admission. This is in
our policy book but I cannot find the source of this regulation. The RAI
manual only states that we need Physician orders for immediate care to give
instructions for care until the staff can conduct a comprehensive
assessment and develop a plan of care.
