I would code it 3/2. While the CNA didn't bear the resident's weight, there was weight bearing activity involved in her care. I would think that the fact that it is a prosthesis would be a technicality. The same theory exists: the CNA is performing weight bearing assistance. That's a tricky one.

Resident lifts up stump, CNA positions limb on stump. Resident hooks and tightens straps and secures stump?? 3,2 or 2,2 CNA did not bear any of the residents weight but did lift the artificial limb?? Is this considered bearing the residents weight?? Thanks in advanced.
