I AGREE WITH YOU, WE HAVE THREE NURSING STATIONS, IF A RESIDENT ATTENDS AN ACTIVITY IN AN AREA THAT IS COVERED BY ANOTHER NURSING STATION THAN THEIR OWN, I CODE IS AS OFF UNIT.

I am wondering what everyone else uses for N3c (Preferred Activity Settings - inside NH/off unit). We have a single level facility with five wings and four dining rooms. Our activities coordinator states that she was told a while ago that we cannot call anyplace in this nursing home as "off unit" because we do not have multiple levels. I disagree and feel that if someone from any one wing attends an activity in another wing's dining room it should be considered off unit. What are some other thoughts on this?
