Yes, I'm struggling with this issue myself now. Just started at a facility that uses handwritten MDS' for worksheets and has an input person, so the final computer-generated copy may not be printed until after the fact, KWIM? Another thing to consider is the handwritten MDS (worksheet) is shredded when the final computer copy is printed and signed. So if the input occurs after the fact, what to date the computer copy? i.e., date handwritten work completed or date of computer-generated copy or date pen meets paper? The biggest issue seems to be with other disciplines-obtaining timely signatures as they may not sign until the next day after the computer-generated copy is printed. Argh! Another thing is we have a lot of other disciplines contributing to the MDS (thankfully) but that means we have many signatures to obtain on the computer-generated copy. I'm inclined to suggest keeping the handwritten worksheets on the chart but...
