Once you have determined that they are not coming back, you can submit another d/c tracking, coded as return not anticipated, using the same d/c date. You will get a message that the record was submitted late, but it's not a big problem. It will remove the person from your missing assessment list as well as the other reports.

What happens to those residents that we discharge with "return anticipated" and then something happens that they don't return? Do they just float in "cyberspace" forever? Some of these residents still keep showing up on my Q.I. reports. months later. Is there any way to get them off?
