This question
comes from one of our MDS coordinators in the field. I do not have enough
expertise to answer. Can someone shed some light
please:
A resident was discharged from PT/OT on 12/21/03 as she was not progressing. An OMRA was done 12/29/03 since she has a Stage IV decub. How many days will she still be covered for Medicare A ? Billing gave me a date of coverage until 03/13/04. Will she still be covered up to this date even if she does’nt have any order for PT/OT?
