Subject: RE: RNAC per facility numbersWe are hospital-based, with mostly short-stay patients. We have 24 beds, average census 20. We take Medicare and Insurance only, not Medicaid-approved. We average 15-20 admissions per week. Mostly Medicare, occasional Insurance patient. Less than half of our patients stay 2 wks, less than 25% stay 3 wks, less than 10% stay 30 days, only 3-4 per year stay 60 days. Have never done a quarterly assessment. We have one LPN (32 hrs/wk) and one RN-me (24 hrs/wk). However, I usually work more than that, and she sometimes works less. I also do the Care Planning/Discharge Planning Meeting weekly, QA committee, software testing - we are upgrading (again!).-----Original Message-----
