For the licensed 178 bed facillity (census was around 130) that I just left, we had 2 full time RNACs.  The facility has a 30 bed subacute that is extremely busy which takes up most of one of the RNACs time; she would also cover other Medicares in the building as she could.  The other RNAC was responsible for the rest of the house.  They helped each other out as the workload varied.      Denise O'Donnell, RN, MN, NHA QUnique 1 Lion Trail Carroll Valley, PA  17320 877-909-0902
