I am in a 118- bed facility. We have a Medicare average census of 15-20. I have been the only RNAC for about a year, and do all MDS, PPS, Care Plans (SS does Sect E, F, and Mood/Behavior/Psychosocial RAPs, Act does N and Activities RAP, DM does K and Nutrition/Feeding Tube RAPs) I also do all preadmission screening and coordinate admissions with SS and financial, manage the 20 bed secure dementia unit, and coordinate Pain Management and Psychotropic Drug Use committees.  My long-awaited assistant started yesterday. She will be working about 16 hours a week.

I work in a 370 bed facility. I function as the RNAC manager and I have a floor of 80. I have 4 other RNAC's/MDS coordinators, they each have their own floor of 65-80. We do all the nursing sections of the MDS and care plans.

Would anyone kindly tell me how many RNAC's are in your facility?  Or how many residents you have if you are the only RNAC?
Thanks, I just found out I'm losing my assistant!
Nancy
