I have wondered about this too for skilled residents, is there not a requirement for the dr. to see the resident before signing the recerts?

According to the Requirements for LTC Facilities 483.40 Physicians Services,  the physician must see the resident once every 30 days for the first 90 days then once every 60days thereafter. The "Watermelon Book" still comes in handy!

I have a question, is there a rule on a skilled patient that says they have to see there doctor by a certain time or by a certain day or days while they are skilled?  I know the rules re: certifications and recertifications, that is not what I mean,  I am questioning Dr. visits.  Thanks!
