No you can't. An OBRA assessment can be
combined with a PPS assessment because the OBRA assessment is timed on a yearly
schedule and the PPS assessment is set at specific DAYS. Therefore, if you
combine a 30 day with a 60 day, you will not be able to find any day in the
assessment periods that will not get you a default payment for at least a few
days. I am including an attachment on scheduling PPS assessments with the
grace days so that you will understand more easily.

Subject: Mix 30/30d w/a Qtr?
I have several residents that are completing their 100d, but will remain
long term. Over last 3yrs haven't had this scenerio, I realize that I
can mix a 90 day and qtr together, but can you do the same with a 30 and 60
day?
Thank you,
Claudia
