I don't know if this will answer your question, but .......look at tag F-280
in the watermelon book. It talks about resident/ family participation. Under
"Guidelines to Surveyors"  question #2 asks in what ways are residents/
families involved in careplanning, ,,, and question #3 asks if staff make an
effort to schedule CP meetings @ the best time of day for residents/
families.

there a regulation regarding specific time frames where we must show that
resident / representative has been involved with the IDT and the care
planning process?  Example� care conference?

  I am not sure if this is a state requirement for us or CMS��..needing
documentation.
