Last year in Illinois the state changed the time frame for submission of MDS's to seven days after the R2b.  A short while later they changed it back to the 31 days.  I left this infor on my form so that the other disciplines complete their sections timely.  They still think I have to submit with in 7 days.  It did wonders for getting their sections completed timely.  Am I evil or what?

The directions at the bottom of Michelle's form talk about the Public Aid Reimbursement system.

Have I missed something?  I thought we had 31 days to send an MDS to the state.  What is this sending by day 7 or get the default rate?  Is this for every MDS, every PPS MDS, in every state?  I'm in trouble.

If I did this right there should be an attachment of the form I use.  If not, email me your fax # and I'll fax it to you.
