Here's what I do:  I add up all the minutes for the individual treatments and divide by three.  Total group time on the MDS cannot exceed that number.  I can rarely use the all the minutes they actually receive in group because they usually only get OT a few times a week (individual) and the exercise groups (weekly) are longer.  For example, resident has 4 days/60 minutes of individual treatment plus one 45-minute group.  60 divided by three = 20.  I can only claim 20 minutes of the group time (1/4 or 25% of the total) for 5 days/80 minutes.  20 minutes of group/out of 80 minutes total = 25% or 1/4.  Hope this makes sense!

Subject: Therapy min

I would like to see how everyone checks therapy min. If therapy is working in a group with residents do you add all min for the last 7 days including the group time and then times it by .25 % and subtract from your total? If someone has a formula please send it?

Thanks Lisa
