I work in a 50 bed facility, 11 of which are medicare.  I am the only MDS person.  The medicare keeps me busy with about 10-20 adm/d'c a week.

We have 160 beds, One MDS coordinator per unit so the ratio would be 160:4

I have a question.  How many MDS coordinators are in facilities compared to number of residents?  Thanks in advance.

Courtney Hunter RN

I work in a small facility with 46 beds and I am the only MDS coordinator.  I work around 20-24 hours per week.
