Our facility also does not use side rails for family request. We provide alternatives
as well as family education. We use half side rails on a few residents as enablers for
bed mobility, but only after the proper assessments and care plan in place.

Subject: side rail restraint?

Hello,
I was wondering how everybody else are writing the orders for side rails
when the only reason there up is because of family request? Any help would
be deeply appreciated.
once again to all
