Not necessarily.  I set my OBRA ARDs on Monday each week.  The other disciplines enter their information on Tuesday. I may not complete the assessments until Thursday or Friday (or even into the next week, if things are crazy)

As long as your R2b date is in compliance, it's not a problem. And I would not complete the assessment if the res. was discharged. The portion of the assessment that had been completed should be maintained, along with a note that the resident was discharged prior to completing the assessment.

Hi,
If a resident has an assessment reference date of 3/23 (for a quarterly assessment) and is discharged home on 3/25(the resident is not medicare)
does the assessment have to be completed?

Thanks
Unless I missed something, it should already be done, right?
