3. Perform a Significant Correction of a Prior assessment or Significant Change in Status assessment if the error was major, and update the care plan as necessary.

The Correction Policy Manual states on page 1-4.....

# 3 makes no sense in this scenario. The record hadn't been submitted.
Fix the original and submit it. Why submit a Correction/Sig Change assessment for an assessment which was correctly submitted???
