If you would have combined your admission assessment with your 5-day, you could use the grace days for the 14 day and combine the OMRA with the 14 day assessment to prevent yourself from doing an extra assessment. If you have not combined the admission assessment with the 5 day and this is a newly admitted resident, you must complete the admission assessment by day 14. So, if all therapy did not end until day 7, you will need to do the admission assessment and then the OMRA.

Subject: OMRA
I need to see if I have this right. On a Medicare Comprehensive assessment 14 day mds due on 5-12 resident was Dcd from PT on 5-6 I have to do the comp assess first on the 12 th then turn around and do the OMRA on the 13 th which is the 8 day after PT discharged. Am I correct?
