the OMRA has to be completed BY day 8 so you can combine your assessments. Remeber the HIPPS code will also change - it will be 78. The other option is since the current assessment will show the change in rehab, you can probably get by NOT doing the OMRA - the MEDICARE 14 DAY MDS should be accurate if there are no Rehab minutes in the 7 day look back period. If the MDS is due on 5/12 your look back starts on 5/6. Did the patient have rehab on 5/6?
