Yes, that is explained in the April update to the RAI manual. (Download from AANAC
site). If the "When the RN Assessment Coordinator worked on the Background (Face
sheet) Information at Admission, he or she must enter his or her signature on the date
it is complet. Also, to the right of the neame, enter the date the form was signed.
IF for some technical reason, such as computer or printer breakdown, the Background
(Face Sheet) Information at Admission cannot be signed on the date it is completed, it
is appropriate to use the actual date it is signed. It is recommended that staff
document the reason for the discrepancy in teh clinical record."
