You should judge a persons pompousness by the content of their message rather than how they sign it. Also, Marti is not banned from this listserve and we're happy to have her as part of the group. She contacted me privately and we resolved the misunderstanding that same evening. In the several years I've moderated this listserve, only a few people have been banned. Those were individuals who ignored requests to stop violating listserve policy. I agree that the commotion with Marti was unpleasant. I tried to deal with the issue privately and apologize if anyone felt I was less than respectful. Please feel free to criticize.
