This is an important professional topic, and I agree with wholeheartedly with Gary's comments below. Many other high quality professional lists (PTManager.com for example) require a signature and affiliation as a way to hold everyone accountable for their comments. It also gives everyone a framework for understanding the environment in which the respondent works. As an associate member of AANAC, I would strongly recommend that we adopt a similar standard.

Those were individuals who ignored requests to stop violating listserve policy. I agree that the commotion with Marti was unpleasant. I tried to deal with the issue privately and apologize if anyone felt I was less than respectful. Please feel free to criticize.
