Subject: section M

Hi guys,

I have a resident with intact blister to her left heel. We have an order to
swab area with betadine and leave it open to air.

I coded the blister on section M as a stage II pressure ulcer. I also
checked 5e for ulcer care. Since we do not applying the dressing I did not
check 6f.

I think I do not have to check anything else regards this blister, but my
DON said I need to check 6a for foot problems and care.

Does she right?

Thanks Lana Vinnik RN, RAC-C
