have the 8 days to determine if there will be a decline in condition with rehab
completed, it gives you time to restart. BEFORE day 8 you must complete an OMRA
(IF they still qualify for a skilled service), and a sig change if indicated.
NOT necessarily a freebie - you still have to work with the client and provide
for skilled needs if any OR arrange for discharge. The RAI should be available
for download from the CMS site, it is also on the transmit site if you are in
Illinois.
