Hello Everyone,
I have a question that I need an answer for ASAP.  It relates to billing.  I had a resident whom I did a 30 day PPS with ARD of 3/30/04.  Her rug level was a RMB.  She was seen by OT and PT for a total of 5 days for 175 minutes.  On 4/2/04 Rehab informed me that they were making that her last rehab day because her condition had deteriotated and her family didn't want her to continue to receive therapy.  She did not receive any therapy minutes for 4/1/04 or 4/2/04.  I con't her stay on Med A because she was receiving IV fluids to keep her hydrated.  Her last day on Med A was 4/12/04 and she switched to hospice.  Now my question - Should I have done an OMRA before that?  How do we bill therapy?  They are saying that we should pay them at the medium rate for the 2 days even though no minutes were obtained.  Any help is appreciated.  I am desperite for answers!
