the last day of the assessment PERIOD if your ARD. You would finish it the NEXT day - this allows all needed info to be placed in the chart. For example, we routinely assign day 13 as the ARD for a 14 day MDS, then COMPLETE it the following day, which is day 14. A 5 day has an ARD of the fifth day & is completed by day 8, day 29 is the ARD for a 30 day, etc. .
