My son has blessedly few serious side effects on Gleevec. His skin seems to be the thing most affected by it. He has experienced hypopigmentation for four years or so. Then, more recently, his skin seems more fragile and susceptible to cuts and scrapes. He has complained of bruising as well. Has anyone else experienced this side effect, and can anything be done about it? Thanks...Rosemary C.
