Hi Fran,

If Jonathan's doc meant people don't reach zero in the sense of having no
CML cells in the body, then he's probably right.  If he means zero by
cytogenetics or FISH (CCR), or by PCR (PCRU), then he's demonstrably wrong:
somewhere between 5% and 40% of patients reach PCRU, depending on whom you
ask and how sensitive the PCR test is that they use.  If he doesn't know
this it might be time to find a doc who's a little more up to date on CML
treatment!
