I have to agree with the person who said that this harassment comes from a virus in someone's computer. This virus automatically mails itself out and uses the infected person's address book. So the person who has the virus is probably 1) unaware that they have it and 2) is not really harassing anyone - just practicing "unsafe computing" by not having up to date virus protection.
