To Carl and Rob, I want to set a few things straight. A while back, Zavie (I believe) got a small chat group together with Rob....people that Zavie seemed to know were not totally happy with the way the list was running. The group consisted of Zavie, Tracey, Rob, Lynn, John and myself. We did NOT have any hidden agendas......we told Rob what our complaints were (and some we had heard from others). People did not like all the bickering on the list and the personal attacks. We knew people who were leaving the list because of that...or who would no longer post anything. The list was dwindling away. Also, there was one person who was dominating the list and others found annoying. I felt that Rob should have stepped in when Dane made his ugly remark to me. Rob kept saying we wanted to censor the list and ban people....wrong! We said have some rules for the list....some standards of decency. Then Rob turned the discussion to him being harassed for 2 years, with calls in the middle of the night, etc......and revealed who that person was/is......and she is not a major poster on the CML list, but her identity is known to EVERYONE in this small discussion group. Of course, we are taking Rob's word that this has actually occurred. The small group tried to offer suggestions for changes.....Rob mentioned several times about turning the group over to someone else, and mentioned maybe a cancer center as an option. The group fell apart (mostly due to frustation that Rob was not open to any of the suggestions that we made).........then Rob posted his 'new rules'. ________________ This group did not complain about photos on the list or medical articles.....that was a more recent complain on this list by 2 of the group members individually........so, let's not attribute this to the group Rob. I will post here for you Carl.....and for anyone else who wants to know......I had nothing to do with Rob being banned from Yahoo and know nothing about it............................. and I invite each of the members of that small discussion group to do the same. Let's clear our names. Someone had to have a bigger vandetta against you than the small issues we were complaining about and trying to resolve....to get you banned Rob. Who knows.....maybe the 'midnight harasser"! Nancy C. ------------------------ Yahoo! Groups Sponsor --------------------~--> Help save the life of a child.
