Penny, I've been on 600 mg for almost 5 years now. Everyone's experience is different, but some side effects do lessen over time. You will see people writing about eye bleeds (seems to be a common problem), bone pain, puffy eyes, dry skin, and my worst was cramping in legs, feet, and other muscles. I take ibuprofen for pain, although recently we've heard that it's not good for you. I did not experience the severe bone pain, so I can't be much help except to sympathize. I do believe this is one symptom that will get better as the body adjusts.
