Hi Loggin, I was diagnosed 3 days after your daughter and it is a huge shock. At 39, I never expected to hear something like this. Actually, I found that getting my life back to normal has helped me to deal with it better. It's not always easy to keep a positive attitude, but I have been assured by 3 doctors at St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London that I can lead a normal life. Your daughter needs your love and support, so try and be positive for her if you can. We don't have a guarantee on our future, but then who does? This group has been a wonderful resource for me. Please keep us posted on her progress.
