Hiya guyzz,
Just keeping everyone updated.After 9 months the 400mg of gleevec wore off. Dr. tells me only 2 more options left before bone marrow. One of thoes is 800mg of gleevec but he is not hopeful. Just had my second biopsy will find out what doc is doing on the 14th. He says he may skip the gleevec and go right to the "super gleevec" . I dont like that option ... i want to try the gleevec ive heard of some people having good results.Any way willl let you know what happens. Im in the 3 percent of 31 y/o females with this , in the 10% of people who work up a resistance to gleevec w/o a remission. What are the odds lol. I stand hopeful that my chromosomes will be stubborn like me and kick this :)
