Sorry to hear of your daughters dx but glad you were able to find the support group, the group make the transition from dx forward easier. I'm not sure about this group, but LLS board has several CML patients that are young, so you might want to post there too. For the younger patients there is various opinions of whether to stay on Gleevec or have a BMT. I think the more common consensus is to have younger patients go for BMT because 'really long term' (Gleevec has only been around 6 years) they don't know the effects of Gleevec. BMT of course carry a level of survival risk and can be scary to consider too. Make sure you do research on both and speak to both a CML and BMT specialist that way you have all the information you'll need to make the right decision for your situation.
