Hi Nancy,
I have had a lot of eye problems.
I went to a specialist and he said I had Blepharitis – an inflammation of the eyelids. The signs are crusting at the base of the eyelashes with ulcerations at the lid margins, gritty foreign body sensation, mucous discharge and mildly red eyes. Photophobia (sensitivity to light) is absent or very mild. Chronic blepharitis is associated with loss of eyelashes. Blepharitis may clear up promptly or persist for long periods. It does not seem to follow the course of blistering elsewhere on the body.
The treatment he gave me was to use a warm compress twice a day and to scrub them twice a day with eye lid scrubs. My condition hasn't cleared up as of yet. Do you have any of these crust? Sometimes my eye feels like there is something in it, especially my left eye. It's a good idea to check in with an eye specialist so he can give you specific treatment. CML anda etc to my opinion is affecting the eyes, at least it is mine. Mine are puffy, red and irritated all the time. I'm on 400 mgs of IM. Good luck, Jeanie<3 In a message dated 11/16/2005 4:48:24 PM Eastern Standard Time, [EMAIL PROTECTED] writes:
