I was also wondering about the 4% number.  Isn't  that only for people who do not achieve CCR?  Dr. Druker told me that the relapse rate was about 2-3% per year for people who achieve CCR and less than 1% per year for people who achieve a 3 log reduction.  I think the 4% rate is an average for all chronic phase CML patients on Gleevec.
