The statistics of Gleevec being 4 percent less effective per year is in the papers written on studies done over time. Look on the LLS website. There was a great presentation, I think in June out of MD Anderson that is available online. They talk about all aspects of CML and the prognosis with Gleevec. Somebody else might have a better take on this.....I thought there was a four percent failure rate per year, not a four percent decrease per year. Does that make sense?\
