[CML] Medicare Drug Plans

I was on Novartis Patient Assistant Plan(PAP) and then was told that I was no longer eligible because I was eligible for Medicare D. I contacted Novartis and they have some people helping patients go thru this process one step at a time. First step was for me to file for extra help in paying for deductibles and the money pit( also known as the donut- hole).They asked questions over the phone and sent the request online for me , now I must wait to hear one way or the other whether medicare is going to accept me for extra help. When I have the answer I need to contact novartis and let them know 1 way or the other. If I am denied by medicare then novartis told me that they also have some programs to help me.   Will let you know more as I find out . Novartis is going to help me find a plan that will work for me .(At least that is what I was told)                Mona New!
