I don't believe I've had a "real" night's sleep in 3 years (dx with uterine sarcoma). I have been taking something for sleep since that time. I cannot even nap. Snce my lung surgery last March, my Onc wants me to sleep and has no problem writing me a script for Ambien. I find if you take it in time to get at least 6-7 hours of sleep, there
isn't that fogginess or fatigue. If you wait until later, take 1/2 (.5 mg) which will at least let you get to sleep. There are several new sleep meds to help that are not
addictive any more. Sleep is one of the most important things you can do for yourself. Sweet dreams.
