Hi Anjana,
Yes he was transfused 4 units and then HGB went to 7.9
but today it's 6.6. HE is being treated in India at
AIIMS (All India Institute for Medical Sciences) and
yes there are over 150 patients. Yes he was diagnosed
with chronic phase CML in Aug 2005 but was doing well
till December and then the problem started in January.
The doctor reduced his dose to 200mg and he is feeling
much better and today he stopped Glivec. Could this be
blast crises or he is doing well I am very tensed and
don't know what to do? My frustration is visible on my
face and I am unable to control myself.
I am hopeful that everything will be fine and he will
overcome it.
Bye and thanks for writing to me.
Amit.
