It is probably too early to talk about reducing dosage. The doctor would say that the blood count is somewhat low, but not low enough to be overly concerned about. The body needs to adjust to Gleevec, and that often takes a while, so blood counts and side effects can be unusual at first. But weekly blood tests are very important at this stage to monitor the situation. --Trey
