Hi all, My blood counts were up and down for the  first few months on Gleevec. My onc did have to stop all meds for a while until they come back up. He wanted to do a transfusion but I didn't want it and knew they would come back up when I stopped the meds and sure enough they did. I started back on my Gleevec and my counts have been stable ever since. Hang in there and listen to you onc.
