Hello Melody,

Sorry to hear about this scare you are going through. Actually, this
is quite interesting as I am aware of someone else who is going through
something very similar, although B-cell lymphoma has been mentioned not
T-Cell Lymphoma. This patient also started Gleevec after dx.

Obviously the study about having had IFN first doesn't apply to you or
this other patient that I know of. Neither does the story about
kidneys' and prostate cancer.

Let me ask you this, during the time that you noticed the lump, did you
have a flu? Were you experiencing a lot of stress? Were you near any
construction, house repairs? Are you in a geographical area where it
is allergy season? The reason I am asking is that this patient and the
doctor has noticed that the lump is shrinking on it's own and the
Doctor isn't willing to say for sure if it is lymphoma at all, however,
like you they are investigating it further. Were you ever treated for
any other cancers prior to being dxed with CML? We've often heard
about people who have been treated for lymphoma develop leukemia, but I
think it is incredibly rare for it to be the other way around.

I am sure Dr. Druker will respond to you, please keep us posted on what
he says.

Love and Peace,
Cheryl-Anne
